Camera-free elderly monitoring
Families want to know their parents are safe. Parents want their privacy, most of all in the bathroom and bedroom. NoBlink uses radar sensors instead of cameras, so you do not have to choose between the two.

Each NoBlink sensor sends out low-power radio waves and listens for the reflections, a little like the way a bat uses echoes to find its way in the dark. From those reflections it can tell where a person is, how they are moving, and whether they suddenly dropped to the floor or have stayed still for too long.
What it cannot do is form a picture. There is no image of a face, a body or a room, at any point. That is also why it keeps working through shower steam and with the lights off, where a camera would be useless.

Radar sends out low-power radio waves and measures how they reflect off a moving body. That shows where a person is, how fast they are moving and whether they suddenly dropped, without ever capturing what they look like.
